This ground-up, new construction property was designed by DOMA and built by Belltown Construction, David and his partner’s construction company. This project—located on Baltimore Avenue in West Philadelphia—is a 6,000 square foot, 3-story, mixed-use building with five apartments and one commercial storefront. The building features a predominately white brick facade with accented rectilinear bay windows, which responds to the use of brick and bay windows throughout the neighborhood while still presenting as a contemporary, new build. The white brick of the front facade (south-facing) also helps reduce heat gain in the summer months along with a white EPDM roof over the third floor. The rear yard features a rain garden that attenuates half of the storm water runoff from the main roof. David was the lead manager of this project from design, through permitting and construction, and finally leasing.
